CobraWeather

Δημοσίευση από Peled »

Hi eHAF Pilots

i would like to ask that in English instead of greeklish...
My question related the Cobraweather of Sakgiok .
is there any possibility to edit weather on cam files ? or just tac files please ?
Biker from the FF Forum suggest how to edit a weather in cam files with CobraWeather tool :
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

Rename your campaign file (e.g. save1.cam) to save1.tac.
Use CobraWeather and save the settings in save1.tac.

Rename save1.tac back to save1.cam -> now you have the weather settings in your campaign.
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Well---it won't work for me  just thought to ask here Sakgiok personally , anyone got a clue please ?

Ευχαριστίες και θλιβερός εάν αυτή ταχυδρομήθηκε στα αγγλικά

Hi Peled

Well. I guess I'll answer you in English too

Theoretically you can change the weather in a campaign, but not with the manner you described. The savex.cam (x=0,1,2) files don't follow the *.tac standarts.

What you have to do is, start a campaign as allways and then save it let's say as Save-Day 1 08 13 12.cam. That's the file you have to open with CobraWeather. When you're done editing it, you can load it in Falcon and continue your campaign.

Now, the renaming thing will work for opening the cam file, but there is a simpler way. Don't rename anything, open CobraWeather, choose File->Open and at the Filename field type *.* and press Enter. You'll see all types of files displaying in the list. Choose the one you want to open and open it. When you're done editing save it normally...

Hope that helped...

Great news Peled.

So it worked with the save0.cam? Good to know that it works with these files too.

Thanks for the info and good luck with your project...
