BullsEye Trainer V1.1 To read this file open with notepad and use wordwrap from the edit menu. Installation Instructions Simply Unzip the files into the directory of your choice. Make sure you check the 'Use Folder Names' box before extracting. Uninstallation Instructions Just delete the directory where the program resides, it adds no DLL's nor does the program affect your registry in any way. Notes On Use You cannot input your solution until the bullseye call has finished. You can determine this by looking at the MFD, if it saids 'Incoming Call' then the bullseye call is still in progress and you'll have to wait for 'Engaging' to appear. This program uses sound to provide an authentic experience, make sure you have a sound card and that your speakers/headphones etc are plugged in. The program is designed to run at a minimum color depth of 16 bit, any lower and the graphics will be comprimised. Also you must select a desktop resolution of at least 800x600 due to the size of the programs main window. The value in the 'nose' of the F16 is its course, the other values in the MFD work as per the falcon4 counterparts. Version 1.1 Changes I had read the F4 manual totally wrong on the MFD layout (Sorry Chaps), MFD now properly reflects falcon 4's MFD with range in the circle, true bullseye bearing below the circle and relative bullseye bearing as the arrow. Button on small MFD now makes 'click' sound. Symbols for aircraft in debrief screen have been changed, to make it easier to see the solution. 'Auto-Zoom' for MFD solutions has been modified to take new symboligy into account. Added the 'solutions' MFD to the view menu. Only accessible after the first engagement has occured. Known Bugs During on screen refresh, a white horizontal bar appears at what must be milleseconds, then disappears. This is due to the bitmap display method that I used. V1.01 will use BitBlt or Directx double-buffering to elliminate this. Other than the above I'm not aware of any bugs. If you should find one, please email me at robert@robpol.demon.co.uk with the details and attach the file called 'debug' which resides in the programs main directory.
