during a squadron-exchange, aircraft lost engine oil and got an open nozzle,
it made an emergency landing at Kerkira (Korfu) on Rwy 17, it overrun the runway-end and ditched into sea
about 40 degrees nose down, cockpit was about 3 meter under water and 2 meters in mud,
pilot unstrapped and activated his life vest and tried to jettison the canopy which lifted just a few centimeters
in total darkness the pilot strapped into the seat again and ejected from about 3 meter under water and was serious injured
instructional airframe with TSLw 3 on October 23, 1967, tail used for construction number 8044 in January 1968
